Just when winter and snow are starting to get to me, one of my favorite fabrics is back. There's nothing like whimsical pink monkeys to put a smile on.
I always wanted a puppy when I was a kid. What kid didn't? But I never had one, so now I sublimate that former desire with fabric. Ok, it's not the same thing, but who wouldn't love these red pups?
What little princess wouldn't love these tea party/snack napkins? I wish I had a lunchbox I could tuck them into myself. Newest addition to the 'Kid Stuff'.
September....summer vacations come to an end, the kids are back in school. What a good time to get into new routines, like tucking a cloth napkin into those lunchboxes. And with special prints just for them, the kids will love it. Go green.
Some are born with a silver spoon....I must have arrived with a needle between my fingers. It all came back around when I saw some incredible velvets and silks....my wool scarf was itching me, and before I knew it 'PlanetScarf' was born.
Blending colors and textures give me a real kick.
Time went by....and I was making handkerchiefs for a friend from leftover pieces of patchwork fabric. And mixed up sets of napkins. So began COLORCHIEFS, which just happen to be earth friendly.
To be continued....
