Prelude to Spring

I love whimsy -- so I was delighted when I found this exclusive Liberty of London print from Japan -- am giong to have to call it 'Rabs'. Which brings to mind a friend -- and yes, as story.

But I'll save that for another time.....

Could be the anticipation of the season changing, or just a mood of seeing things from the inside out. Like the upside down world I imagined as a kid, you know, where we walked on the ceiling.

Maybe the colors just cheer me up.

Wishing for Spring

Have you noticed how the light is changing? Just makes me feel that spring is just around the corner. Yes, I'm an incurable optimist. But before we know it, trees will be budding, flowers will be blooming.....ah!

And that means new handkerchiefs.

Olive Love

If I could live on olives, there's a good chance I'd try. But there's a better chance of living on love, so my brain has combined the two ideas in this new hankie set. Ok, maybe that's twisted, but these fabric colors are rich, and I love the gold speckles. Reminds me of when someone who was trying to get me to go out with him had an assortment of olives via room service. Laughed my head off, but no, it didn't work....

Heading to the Beach....Soon!

Ah, I love the beach, and sitting by the water. Digging my toes into sand. Breathing salt air. Listening to the sound of the surf. Soon. Till then, I thought this new set of handkerchiefs were a good reminder of days to come.

Stormy Weather....

Wow, here in NYC we've been having some rockin' and rollin' weather. Thunderstorms that remind me of when I was a little kid and fear of the thunder & lightening gave way to the awe of it as I grew older. This handkerchief set reminds me of the colors of the sky when those summer storms rolled in.
